About Off The Hook Bookkeeping

Amy was born with bookkeeping in her blood. At 12 years old she would work for her dad's accountant reconciling bank statements, ordering stock and chasing up unpaid accounts.

After a traineeship in 1999 she entered the world of professional bookkeeping where she was for many years, slaving away behind a computer to make sure that her many clients were exceedingly delighted in her work.

In 2010 she completed a business degree in accounting at Swinburne University.

Amy had always wanted to branch out on her own and start her own bookkeeping business. She dreamed of Amy's Bookkeeping & Consulting Services, but those plans would never come to pass. And one day in 2012, just when she thought her dream had died…

…a tall and handsome man by the name of William Hooke came into her life and proposed to her, she became Amy Hooke. Not long after the wedding in 2014, Off The Hook Bookkeeping was born.

Inspired by her new surname and cool new business name, the logo was designed and posted on Facebook for an opinion. The next thing the phone started ringing. And the rest is history…

Amy is a top-quality bookkeeper in Melbourne, working out of her office in Blackburn and offering her services to the east, south-east and inner suburbs of Melbourne, including Balwyn, Box Hill, Burwood, Doncaster, Kerrimuir, Nunawading and Surrey Hills.
